Islington - photo #1

Islington is a very popular area north of London and correspond to the area close to the Angel tube station. It is very desirable due to its popular high street (Upper street) and wide range of accommodation available by the canal or just a few steps away from the high street. Islington is also an easy reach from King's Cross Saint Pancras station through Pentonville road (south) and Highbury heading to the north through the main high street.

The high street has got absolutely everything you would need, from supermarkets (Sainsbury and Marks & Spencer), a shopping mall, fashions stores and lots of restaurants. The area features several old victorian houses, terraced houses and small buildings. Rent in Islington are quite high, especially close to the Angel station and the canal. You will find cheaper rent if you move up north towards Highbury and Islington station.
